I am searching for information about Edwin Crosby Ganung (1834 - 1920) of Union Valley Road in Mahopac. I know a good amount of his life at this point, but what I am most interested is the name of his farm. He lived there from 1870-1920 and I'm positive it had a name. If you look at the 1925 census, the names of the farms are indicated along with all the family members and employees, but he and his wife were already deceased at this point: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ny/county/putnam/Census1925/catownsdata.htm I've looked at earlier census reports and I see no mention of the property names, so this is the only census I've found that shows farm names.
