My tentative ancestry for Alonzo Wixom is: son of Egbert and Jacinthe (Dingee) Wixom, who is the son of Joseph Wixom b. 1762 and Deborah Brown, who is the son of Peleg Wixom b. 11 Dec 1726 in Yarmouth, Mass., d. 25 Jun 1804 in Fredericksburg, Dutchess Co., NY and his wife Margaret, and his father Robert Wixsom b. 20 May 1698 b. Chatham, Mass. I wonder if Egbert remarried after Jacintha died in 1864 to an Iola? Notes for Alonzo and family: Bible records. Is Alonzo son of Egbert Wixon, whose death is in the same Bible record, having died 1 Sep 1878, mother Jacintha, and Alonzo named a daughter "Jacintha". There is also an Iola Wixon died 21 Sept. 1887. 1856, 11 Nov. Carmel Newspapers p.16.
