To all Members of the Putnam mailing list, It seems a good time to have a Roll Call. Here's how this will work. Each member should send an email to this list and use the words "Roll Call:" in the subject line followed by the surname of someone for whom you are researching in Putnam county. Include in the message area of your email some brief information about the person which includes at the very least the full name of the person you are researching, the town in which s/he lived, and either the date of some event associated with the person and the event or at least a timeframe that s/he lived there. I am not experienced at this and do want to join the roll call. Exactly how do I do that? Can you walk me through it? Do I start a new thread under the message board?
