Baxter (1803-1854), daughter of Thaddeus Baxter (1771-1847) and Hannah Cole (1778-1840) (daughter of Elisha Cole of Barnstable, MA). Kansas. Brother Charles and family remained in Kansas until 1873 when they returned to Buffalo. Henrietta Nelson and her family continued to live in Kansas through the grasshopper plagues, the terrible cyclone of 30 May 1879 (which generated the "Wizard of Oz" cyclone.
