MEETING INFO: WHAT: Acquiring Italian Records from Italy with Toni McKeen WHEN: Saturday, October 10, 2009 @ 10 a.m. WHERE: Aldersgate Methodist Church, 600 Broadway in Dobbs Ferry (across from Mercy College on route 9) Toni McKeen has been passionate about genealogy for over 20 years. McKeen has been researching her huge Italian family as well as her husband’s Irish family during this time. Her research has led her to the ancestral homes of her grandparents in Sicily, Calabria, and the Amalfi Coast of Italy and she have made several trips to the "homeland" in search of documents. Ms. McKeen has taught several levels of genealogy in Founders Hall in Ridgefield, CT for more than 5 years. This lecture will focus on how to get documents from Italy. The meeting opens at 10:00 a.m. at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 600 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY. Guests are welcome.
