His sons John, Elisha, Samuel, and Edward left Putnam in 1779 and went to what is now Greene county, NY. Samuel and Edward were married to Townsend women. Have you come across anything regarding these people ? Or the other Haines's that remained in Putnam ? Anything is a help. Thank you.
