Hello All, This is the 1st time I have encountered a need to search for NY records & I'm having a tough time discovering what resources might be available. Can anyone please tell me if there is such a thing as an index to deaths for Putnam County, 1900 & onwards? Or even a state-wide index that might have included Putnam County? I saw someone who I think might belong to my family in the 1900 census, listed as being in an almshouse in Kent, and am thinking he may have died soon after because I can't find him in 1910.
