Specifically: names, inter-marriages, and locations for those of us trying to trace possible Native American history in this area? My 92 year old Aunt "knows" of indian ancestry in her family, but will not discuss it. Apparantly it was quite an embarassment to the family when she was a young girl and she and my other aunts and uncles were teased for it. Past historian Mr. Muscarella also believed our family had Indian ancestry, but we are unable to find it. My grandmother, Eva Lynn (Robinson) Booth, lived on Route 311 on property her grandmother left her (the north side of the road between Longfellow Drive to the top of the hill to Longfellow Court). My uncle, Joseph Robinson lived on the corner of Longfellow Drive and Route 311 in a brick house which is no longer there. Several businesses are now on the property: Holly Real Estate, an old laundromat, a bar, and what was Bob's Garage and Zatolla's Garage. Where her house was, has been for sale several times since she died. The driveway up the hill is barely visible just east of Bob's Garage. Thank you in advance for any information you may have.
