TO ALL listers with this name OR CONNECTIONS to same Am seeking persons with the SURNAME / CAUSTON, or ANY variations of this spelling. I have 3 specific connections to this name which I list below. HOWEVER,THE CAUSTONs HAVE BEEN DIFFICULT TO GROUP -SO FAR-- ..I have put togethetr a Chronological List dating from 1650--to1829 and am using that to put together ANY SORT of family groupings. SamuelCAUSTON,JR. is named as age 21 in that same .census and Dau. Hannah is age 12. There MAY have been a dau. Mary as well. The wife is Hannah [SHUTE] .She and Samuel,SR. married c.1688 / 1689. ***********A Hannah [CAUSTON] by 1721 married Arthur-3-VAIL. VAIL is another of my lines. ***********1771-A Martha [CAUSTON] married 05.DEC.!&&! to PEARSALL-5- BROWN,son of Nathaniel-4/ Samuel-3/ William-2..BROWN is another of my lines. This was a Quaker-wedding at Clinton, Duchess Co. [Thet is either Nine Partners MM or ? I have forgotten the other at Pleasant Valley. . There was only 1 other CAUSTON present--a Joseph . NO connection was mentioned between the two Caustons,however, in the Record. Love to exchange info. about surnames in common.
