Hi all My third great grandfather, Bradley Squire, was born Oct 1783 in Dutchess Co Fredericksburgh District which I think is now in Putnam Co. Not 100% sure but think so. I can not find a baptism in NY. I sure wish they hadn't moved from Fairfield Co CT where the other kids were baptized. I have checked the churches I could find in the area and no luck. His father, Jonathan Squire, died by the end of 1784. So if there is any record of that I would appreciate it. I have an abstract where the eldest son (from 1st marriage) and the widow Mary Reeves Squire gave the land back to the sellers in Dec 1784. The son, Jonathan Squire stayed in Dutchess/Putnam.
