I've "rescued" an old photograph of May FLYNN TRUMBULL which was taken at the Anderson Studio in Miller, Nebraska. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with May likely in her teens at the time it was taken. In addition to her name, someone has written Will FLYNN'S oldest sister on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding May and her family: Mary Maranda FLYNN was b. 28 Jan 1882 in TX to parents John FLYNN (b. 6 Aug 1851 in Red Mills, NY) and Sarrah Elzina OMSTEAD (b. 10 Nov 1861 in Cordova, IL). The couple had 11 children including, Lewis; William Walter; Albert Sylvester; Mary Maranda; Ervin Monroe; John Roy; Sarah Rosella; Lawrence Owen; Nellie Belle; Sylvia Irene; and Cyril Leonard FLYNN all born between 1877 and 1094 in IA, KS, TX, and NE. Mary married Oliver TRUMBULL (b. 4 Jan 1873 in Ipslanti, MI) on 29 Jan 1902 in Kearney, NE and together they had 7 children including, Agnes Irene; infant; Leona Elzina; Verna Merwin; Ruby Olive; Leonard Oliver; and Lenora May TRUMBULL all born between 1903 and 1917 in NE. Mary died in Lincoln, NE on 10 Mar 1944 and is buried in Lexington, NE. Census information provides the following info: 1900 census of Armada Township, NE: - living in the home of Frank & Nela BROWN May M. FLYNN, servant, age 18, born Jan 1882, born TX, parents born Ireland/IL, a Servant I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be returned to their care.
