Thompson. I recently received his substantial (yay!) military pension file from the US Department of Veterans Affairs for his service in the Spanish American War. To prove her relation, Blanche submitted several documents, including handwritten letters, her marriage license (to Henry Utter), Henry's death certificate and her pension application.
