Powers on April 5, 1844 by Seth H. Chase, a justice of the peace per her Declaration for Widow's pension on February 2, 1891. I have a copy scanned if anyone is interested. Who are Rhoda Taber's parents? Are there any records of the marriages Seth H. Chase performed? Any other Taber families in the same area in 1840s? There is a listing on the 1850 census for Sanford D.[aniel] Powers and Rhoda Powers residing at Worcester, Otsego Co, NY. According to the 1850 census she was born about 1822. The 1865 state census indicated she was born in the Schoharie County, NY. For the census records of 1860-1880, Daniel S. Powers and Rhoda (Taber) Powers reside in Cortlandville, Cortland Co, NY.
