I am looking for the parents or siblings of Benjamin Smith (born 1793 in Vermont) who lived in Edmeston from about 1820-1835 when he and his family moved to Allegany County, NY. He was married to Polly Main (born 1794 in Rhode Island) and they had several children born in Otsego County. Mary Smith- unknown dob, married H. Dakins Benjamin Smith, Jr.-1823 Daniel Smith- 1824, Married Julia Hatch Sarah Smith- 1827, married George Hamilton Harriet Smith- 1828, married a Carryer Betsey Smith- unknown dob, married C. Tefft Electa Smith- 1830,married John Fuller Henry Smith- 1832,married Mary Rice (my gg) Sidney Smith- 1833- not sure if in Otsego Lucy Smith- 1836- W.Clarksville,NY,married M.
