He married Polly Hall, daughter of Anan Hall & Comfort Hodge, on either May 3 or Sep 13, 1812. They were both of the Town of Otsego (Springfield). They had a son, James J Allen, born Feb 4, 1813. Jacob died May 17, 1814 at 25 yrs of age. Polly then married the widower Abel Morse of Springfield. All are buried at Allen's Lake Cemetery, S'field. I am desperate to find Jacob Allen's parents or even siblings. Please help if you can. I have been looking for a long time. If I knew where Jacob was born it would be a big help. Thank you.
