I have a marriage into the Stocking family from my Colman family in Springfield. Lucy Colman was the oldest child of Franklin Colman and Aletia Dow, born in Springfield Dec. 1819. She married Daniel Stocking in 1842. I believe his mother was Nancy, born in CT. They relocated to Ohio, where he died in Elyria, Lorraine in 1886.
