There's been a continued series written by Roger Joslyn, FASG, about "the 3 Barber sisters who documented New York State", in recent issues of NYGBR. Quite interesting. Perhaps your genealogical society subscribes to that quarterly. But...they were human too, and they did make mistakes. One mistake she/they made was using a typewriter that only printed half a capital letter whenever she/they used the shift key. I make misteaks two. so hoo am I to complane?. Thanks, Barber sisters!
