Who's eagerly digesting the 1940 census? Have you come up for air yet? Springfield has only 2 Enumeration Districts. 39-64 has only 18 pages, but I can't find my great grandmother. I have the East Springfield Meeneghans on the farm, but "the girls" lived just south of the Center on the main road. We should have Ellen Broderick Meeneghan, who was alive until 1949. She would have been about 71. I'm not sure whether Anne, Kate, or Mary were living home or working out. Mary was the nurse at the Knox School. Katie was Rosie the Riveter in Schenectady for a period. I have Ellen's sister, Mary McDonough, who would have been across the street. Is anybody seeing something I'm not? Thanks, Sara
