Bailey was: Born in New York January 1845 (or possible a few years earlier), daughter of William C. Bailey, shoemaker and seller, born New York, December 1820, parents born Connecticut, and his wife Elizabeth, born England ca. 1818, died before 1900. Calista lived in Cooperstown from before 1860 until her death. Calista is reported to have died on June 10, 1910. She married, on October 7, 1874, DeWitt Delong, of New York, a grocer and later a freight agent, of Cooperstown, born November 1846. He lived in Cooperstown until after 1930. They had only one child, Clara Elizabeth Delong, born May 1879, who lived with her parents (and later just her father) in Cooperstown until her death in 1963. Clara never seems to have had any occupation. From at least 1908 until after 1930 the Delong family lived at 78 Chestnut Street. Is that the right Calista, and does that answer your question?
