However, So far I have Seth B. in Deerfield, Oneida Co. in 1830 and when first son was born in 1831. He was working on the building of the Erie Canal from what I have learned. He next showed up in Davenport in 1840, Harpersfield in 1850,Davenport in 1860, Davenport 1865, and Davenport 1880. Davenport Historian told me he was born in and raised in Otsego County but did not know name of parents and did not give me location. Unfortunately the early census records do not show childrens names. Location in Otsego County may help in identifying parents in 1810 Federal census, All help from all readers of posts would be appreciated. 1840 they lived on Webb hill.
