This is helpful. I had found her in the 1880-1920 censuses but couldn't find her in 1870. I have seen the name Ivins spelled many ways (Ivens, Ivans, Ibans, Ivons, Joins, even Evans) and looked under the obvious variants and possible mistranscriptions but Irvin was one I hadn't thought of.
