How would you recommend I get further information on the Francis C. Shute family? Francis' father was Andrew Shute and his mother was Sarah Crush. They lived in Ostego Co. for many years and initially were Quakers, I think. Should I write to the Methodist church in Morris? I am kicking myself because a year ago we were in Cooperstown, Clinton, Whitesboro,and general area researching my husband's family. I have so little info on the Shutes that they never crossed my mind. I would love to know more about their lives in Ostego.
