However, there was no one named Burrell Story. I found him on the 1850 cemsus for Exeter, Otsego Co., NY as age 57, born CT, with wife Laura, age 56, born NY, child Joseph, age 16, born NY, and two others, Harriett Scott, age 32, and George Scott, age 7, both born NY. I also checked the Ricker Compilation on a CD that I have and did not find birth record for a Burrell Story. The Ricker Compilation covers vital data for CT from other published data. there are aboutt four sheets of birth, marriage and death records for Story/Storeey. A place you might want to visit is the NYHSA in Cooperstown, Otsego Co.,, NY. I have been there twice in past years and their collection concentrates on Otsego Co., NY. I believe that NYSHA stands for New York State Historical Society. Richard L.
