She developed a pulmonary embolism which resulted in her death. Her husband, Kermit, died March 22, 1982. She is buried in Middlefield Cemetery. I have both of their obits but I do not have an obit for Arlene's father, Gilbert. I have Arlene's and Kermit's obits posted on my tree here on Ancestry.com. Arlene's obit was found in the Utica Daily Press, Wed. June 28, 1939 paper.
