Estate of Joseph Coats, late of Exeter, deceased, Petition to prove will. Consents filed. Order entered, will admitted to probate, and letters testamentary issued to Charles T Coats, executor. Did an exact search for charles t coats and found an obit in the Cooperstown, NY "The Otsego Farmer" 4/1/1949. (7th one down) Charles died, March 29, age 98, born West Exeter 10/4/1850 to Joseph & Susan(Thomas) Coats. Burial at Edmeston Union Cemetery. In 1860 Exeter, there's a Joseph & Susan Coats, with children, Carlton and Charles. Don't know for sure if these are the Coates your researching.
