Dear Jayne, Thank You so much for your reply. It sure can be sad when you look and look and can't find a thing. I believe my Samuel lived in New Lisbon in Otsego county. He had one son Stephen R. H. that moved to Dundee/Starkey in Yates County at some point. We were in the state of New York in October and we went to Dundee/Starkey and that is when I found out that Stephen was born in Otsego county. We didn't get to go to Otsego as it was at the end of our trip at that point. I have seen the name Christopher in my search. I have been thinking maybe Samuel may have came from RI too, because according to what I have found his wife Mary was born in RI. We took alot of pictures of gravestone of ELLIS around Monroe and different counties around there. My hushand's one son lives in Monroe county. Keep in touch if you would like and maybe we can help each other. Thanks again, Marilyn Perllan987@aol.com wrote: >Dear Marilyn: > >It seems that you are in the same position as I am.
