    3. For Aletha, re: "Smith B. Reynolds who died in Cherry Valley about 1827 leaving a wife and family." That name is unusual enough that he was easy to find in my primary Reynolds reference. The index had only one Smith B. Reynolds. Could he be the one b 28 May 1800 and d 26 Sep 1828? Son of Solomon Reynolds and Elizabeth Maria Green, with siblings James Green, Keziah, Joanna, John, Seymour, William, Mercy, Benjamin Wildman, Solomon and Noah Solomon? Any of these fit in? If so, his father Solomon served in the Rev. War, as certified by DAR memberships 16216 and 104002, according to pg 213 of S. F. Tillman's 1959 "Descendants of Christopher Reynolds" (known to have errors). This book shows the ancestry of Smith B. Reynolds, but not his wife or their children, or where they lived.
