I'm interested in: Family, especially who are the parents of John Campbell b. 1798 in Cherry Valley, NY. Later of Duanesburg, Bath, Canisteo NY and in 1869 went to Richland, MI. Also I am descended from Duty Hopkins of Otsego Co, NY; Emanuel Northup b. 1807 in West Oneonta, NY d. 1870 in West Oneonta. Alice VanWoert and her husband Dorr and family down to now. Would like to find the parents of Elinora Preston b. ca. 1807-1812 who married Emanuel Northup and where she is buried. She was his first wife and he married 2nd Sally Betsey Barlow, Gorham in 1836 after Elinora died following birth of daughter Elizabeth and they are buried together in Plains Cemetery. Any help with anything except Hopkins much appreciated. I can help with the Hopkins name.

My great-grandfather, John Keyes Campbell, was born 1797 in Cherry Valley. However, he went to Sandusky, Ohio, and died 1873 in Valparaiso, Indiana, so maybe he is not the same as your John Campbell. The parents of John Keyes Campbell were Benjamin Smith Campbell (1773-1852) and Sally Keyes (1778-1858).
