Send your requests direct to me - I will answer via the Otsego list if found; direct to you if not found. (this keeps the list from being unnecessarily cluttered) .... Keep your messages as short as possible. .... Use as your subject "Otsego will 1829 ALLEN, Theodorus". ( (substitute year of death and deceased's name). .... Deaths must have been between 1794 and 1850 - no exceptions. .... You do not need a message, as the subject tells me all I need to find a will (or confirm that it is not in this book). Specific requests for year, surname and first name only, please, as general searches take too much time. Note that the Otsego County Surrogate Court has many wills that Miss Barber did not include in these books. I do not live in Otsego County NY, and do not have access to original papers of that area...just Miss Barber's abstracts.
