I don't want to run this subject into the ground but another thought occurred to me. Do you recall that certain financial institutions have asked you for your mother's maiden name? Now with those names often appearing on genealogies on the Internet that info is no longer obscure. How many people seeking to illegally access an account would have known your mother's maiden name prior to the 'Net.? Few, I surmise, other than very close friends or relatives. I will no longer give any organization my mother's maiden name as a clue to my own identity.
