Karen, Here is the "govt" copyright page. > http://www.copyright.gov/ Works that were created on or after 1-1-1978 are protected for Life (or the author) plus 70 yrs. If it was published before 1923 then it no longer has any copyright protection. It is in the public domain. If published from 1923 - 1963 then 28 yrs and it can be renewed for 67 yrs more - if renewed! If it has not been renewed then it is in the public domain. If published from 1964-77 then when published - 28 yrs plus 67 yrs. If the work was "created" before 1-1-1978 "but not published" then it is Life (of the author) plus 70 yrs or until 12-31-2002 - whichever is greater. If created before 1-1-1978 BUT published between that date and 12-31-2002, then it is life (of the author) plus 70 yrs OR 12-31-2047 whichever is greater. Now, that is how I read it, from a chart published by the Univ of NC - and understand it. I don't remember when you said your booklet was originally published. However, check it out "yourself" on this website and you should feel at ease about whether to put it on the internet site or not. Good luck, Carol Karen Eddy wrote: > >
