Dear Jan: Below is the email I sent you on Aug. 31. Can you give me the communicatin information for the town clerks of Pittsfield and Plainfield? I believe I should write to them for certified copies of my birth certificate, shouldn't I? I want to get the copies as inexpensively as possible. I have noticed the Minutes from the early years of Otsego County that Marion Brophy put onto the website. She gave the impression that there were no minutes before the earliest ones she gave. That puzzles me because in the early 1990s she sent me photocopies of all of the Minutes, and there are a lot before the earliest ones she gave. Would you like me to transcribe these? If so, I would have to know how. I do not know HTML. Now I have just tried to find the Town Minutes of Milford that Marion transcribed in order to check the earliest ones she die, and I can't find them. But I know they are there, I have seen them.
