    1. TRASK - HAMILTON Family Photographs
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" a group of photographs including some belonging to the TRASK Family. The first photograph is of Florean TRASK HAMILTON taken at the Young Studio in Oneonta, New York. A note on the photograph states that it was taken before she married. I'm guessing that the photograph was taken in the 1880's and that she was in her 20's at the time. The second photograph is of "Grandmother TRASK" or Mrs. Loomis TRASK and was taken at the Hotchkiss Studio in Norwich, NY, dated 1890. I would guess that Grandmother TRASK was probably in her 60's at the time it was taken. A third photograph taken at this same studio in 1890 is identified as "Mom" and is that of an infant of about 1 year. A tin type photograph also included appears to be an earlier photograph of the woman identified as Grandmother TRASK or Mrs. Loomis TRASK along with another young woman maybe a sister. A fifth photograph is of an unidentified male, probably in his 20's taken at the same studio in Oneonta, NY as the photograph of Florean TRASK HAMILTON. Based on limited research I was able to find Abdel Loomis TRASK b. 1834 at Otego, NY and his wife Mary Jane FINCH age 45 living in Otsego, NY during the 1880 census along with their daughter Florean or Florence Deborah TRASK b. 28 Sept 1859 at Otego, NY. All were said to be NY born as were all of their parents. Florean married Charles HAMILTON on the 5th of October 1887. Other photographs recovered from the same source belong to the CHASE, HENDRICK, SLOAN, HAYNES, HAMILTON, BURDICK, BARBER, and MASTIN Families from Unadilla, NY; Walton, NY; and Glen Falls, NY; I'm hoping to locate someone from this TRASK Family so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
