It may be of interest to learn that on the 1800 Census for Cherry Valley Hugh and John are, again, inventoried next to each other. Is it possible that this Hugh is the son of this John? The enumeration information of the households is intriguing. Also, enumerated in Cherry Valley in 1800 is what appears to be a Campbell "hamlet" with the following families enumerated in this order [with no other names interspersed:] Samuel Campbell John Campbell [this is another John Campbell] James Campbell John H. Campbell James Campbell, Sr. James J. Campbell Additional Campbell families in Cherry Valley in 1800: John Campbell, Jr. Samuel Campbell, Jr. - these two are right next to each other in another area Matthew Campbell In reference to the list provided by Terry Schliewe, it may also be of interest that enumerated close by the 6 Campbell families in 1800 are Samuel Dick- son and William Dickson. The families are only separated by that of John Bull. There are a number of Wilson families also in Cherry Valley in 1800 including that of James. Leigh Leigh C.
