I've "rescued" a group of old photographs including some belonging to the ROSE Family of New York. The photographs included in the group are as follows: 1. Mabel ROSE VANHORN, taken at a studio in Richfield Springs, NY, early 1900's, in her teens 2. "Grandpa ROSE", no studio or location, 1860's or 1870's, in his 50's or 60's 3. "Grandma ROSE", not studio or location, 1860's or 1870's, in her 50's 4. Unidentified male, taken at a studio in Richfield Springs, NY, 1880's or 1890's, in his teens The photographs were recovered with others containing the surnames KERR and MATTESON/MATTESEN and photographs from studios in Jamestown, NY; North Topeka, KS; New Haven, CT; Titusville, PA; Cambridgeboro, PA; and Union City, PA; I'm hoping to locate someone from this ROSE family so that the photographs can be returned to their rightful place with family.
