Hi Jayne, I don't know. I know nothing about Charity Beams Alger, other than the fact that she was married to David. I have David b. abt 1801 and Nancy b. 1809. I believe that she was David's second wife, but am not sure at this time. Nancy Shellman Alger was born in Trout Creek before living in Oneonta with David. Several of David and Nancy's children lived in the Masonville/Bennettsville area when they were adults but weren't born until the 1830's into 1850's.
