This may be old news, but the Early American Newspapers website, available (to me) through membership in the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society (NYGBS), seems to be rapidly expanding, and currently has the following Otsego County newspapers available, and both searchable and browsable, on line: Cherry Valley Gazette (1818-1820) Cooperstown Federalist (1809-1816) Freeman's Journal (1818-1820) Impartial Observer (1808-1809) Otsego Herald (1795-1821) Otsego Republican Press [Cherry Valley] (1812-1813) Watch-Tower (1814-1831) They seem to be adding new titles fairly rapidly, and it is certainly becoming a major resource for local history here in Otsego County.
