Sue: Are any of the following names in the 1825 Otsego Co., NY, census? Christopher ELLIS, born RI or MA, lived in Milford all of his adult life, married Wealthy PERRY, had about nine children Jonas PERRY who moved to Hartwick from Chesterfield, Hampshire Co., MA, with his family probably in the late 1780s any PECK BOWEN (I am looking for the parents of Huldah BOWEN who married Jonas P. ELLIS October 23, 1831 in Laurens) HARRINGTON (I am looking for the parents of Hannah HARRINGTON; her parents may have been Francis HARRINGTON and Theodocia (maiden name unknown) HARRINGTON, I have no dates or places for them). Hannah married Ferdinand D. ELLIS in 1840 in New Lisbon. POTTER (I am looking for the parents of Orissa POTTER born March 16, 1818, married Russell ELLIS September 23, 1840 in Seneca Falls; Russell was born and brought up in Milford and Orissa may have been, too.) All of the persons I have named above, except for PECK ( don't know whether any PECKs were in the 1825 Otsego Co. census) should appear in the 1825 census as a child or as a parent if names of all of the members of the family were taken in the 1825 census. Otherwise, only the names of the fathers would be given. I am not sure about this with regard to the 1825 census. Thanks very much. Jayne perllan987@aol.com
