Hello Marilyn My John Keyes Campbell (1797-1873), born in Cherry Vally, went to Sandusky around 1820 and worked at the Sandusky Clarion ( a newspaper owned and founded by his uncle David Campbell), was a part time farmer, and operated stores at North Monroeville, Russell's Corners, and Strongs Ridge, all of these locations being in Huron County, OH. Many of his Campbell relatives moved from Otsego/Montgomery to the Sandusky/Huron county areas of Ohio at the same time.
