Jean, it's good to know where you haven't looked! I'm in CT but Visit relatives a lot in Oneonta, etc. Have done research at both the NYSHA Library and at the County Offices in Cooperstown. (There I saw wills, probate, etc. from the 1700s, if these are around, I don't think it will be that difficult to find them. Will check around and see if I can find where they OUGHT to be before I go up there again. (In Nov., I think.) Will let you know if I find anything interesting between now and then.
