    3. Does anyone have any information concerning the family of David Ward, born between 1780 and 1790, who lived in Otego in 1810 and in Laurens in 1820, 1830, and 1840? His family included 6 sons and 4 daughters. The only information I have comes from Federal Census records from those years, a deed from J. Pratt to David Ward for land in Otego in 1807, and a deed from David Ward back to J. Pratt for land in Otego in 1812. I believe that David is my g g grandfather Abram D. Ward's father as well as the son of Elihu Ward (1757-1840), who came from Washington County in 1800, lived in Otego from 1800-1830, and then in Oneonta in 1840 before he died. If so, then J. Pratt, is probably Jacob Pratt, Elihu's brother-in-law and David's uncle. In addition, Rufus Ward, who resided in Otego in 1820, would be David's brother. I'm guessing that this family may relate many of the early Otsego County Ward's to one another but I have no idea who the children were or who David's wife was. Thanks, Max Ward
