I am looking for desc. of the John Harris family who resided in Laurens on the 1850 census. John was 45 and born in England. Listed with him was were 10 children: John J. age 25 Elizabeth age 23 (believed to be the wife of Jacob FARRINGTON of Oneonta) Hannah age 21 Mary A. age 19 George age 17 CAROLINE J. age 12 (could this be the CARRIE J. PARIS b ca 1839 of Oneonta who m. Charles SIGNOR of Homer? A Carrie SIGNOR was residing with Jacob and Elizabeth FARRINGTON in 1870 Oneonta.) Sarah age 9 William H. age 7 Frances C. age 4 (may be the Frances Harris who married George Harris of Gilbertsville in 1863) J. H. age 1 (believed to be the Jay H. Harris who married Myra E. BIXBY in 1870) I would like to know if Caroline "Carrie" Harris Signor remarried or if she died before 1880. I find no other information about her after 1870. Perhaps a descendant of another sibling might have some knowledge of her. Any comments, advice or information will be appreciated. Mary
