Hi Jan, Mark's email is simmark@stny.rr.som. His website is www.Oneontahistorian.com Mark's columns appear in The Daily Star (website www.thedailystar.com) twice weekly. On Saturday his colulmn focuses on the area during the depression & before. On Monday his columns focus local history after the Depression. I can tell you that Mark says he doesn't do genealogy research...he's into history of Oneonta and surrounding area. I told him I'd be glad to check all my databases if someone contacts him. Mary Harris, the Huntington Library NYS Room Librarian, says that Mark passes genealogy related questions to her. I do volunteer indexing for Mary and I have some databases she doesn't have. Hope this is of help to you.
