I seek info on any IRONS families that migrated from New England to Otsego County NY in the time frame 1790 to 1810. The 1790 census showed no IRONSes in NY state. The 1800 census in NY showed Asa, Edi, Jeremiah, John, Samuel, William The 1810 census in NY showed A, E, J, R Where did they come from? Who are other members of these families? Any information on these families or any other that migrated into Otsego County NY around that time greatly appreciated. Hi Marty, I have IRONS family in my tree, but at a later period. My Frances IRONS was born in Coventry, Warwickshire, England in 1825. She married Samuel GOODE in 1846 in Coventry and they immigrated to Illinois sometime between 1862 and 1866. I don't know who the other members of her family were or if any of them also made it to the United States.
