I have a Registration of Marriage for my husband's gg aunt that married in 1897 in Madison, Dane Co., WI. The witnesses are Mrs. W.D. Simonds and Wm. D. Simonds Jr., with Wm. D. Simonds pronouncing the marriage. The family of the lady getting married came from Schoharie and Otsego counties to WI in the 1840s.
