Lori, On page 285, the name SIGNOR, child of John, I believe it's St Matthew's Church cemetery. What about records at that early date? Any mention? This is the first possible link that my ancestor, John Signor was in Otsego Co, where his son claimed to have been born before removing to Cortland County. Other spellings were Signer and Sickner. Thanks so much for the generous offer. Hello; Yes you are correct that it is listed in St. Matthews. On the page that you mention it is listed and says that bur. May 30, 1813 Lot 11, Range 4, Grave 3. However there is a notation that this is one of the graves that a headstone was not found when she did the walk thru of the cemetery but that it was listed in the early records in the Town Historians Office. That the only mention I find of early records. There are no other Signor's listed in the book. I hope this helps some.
