Dorothy, I was hoping I could help, but upon checking back, I found that my Hezekiah Smith, b. 1773, Rhode Island, married Elizabeth (Betsey) Clark b. 1778, R.I. did have a son Clark Smith, b. 12 Oct 1804, Otsego Co. NY who married Priscilla Luther. This was a large family and I think that part of them did go to Madison Co. but the dates just don't match up. Sorry, Joanne Benne
