Christine I have the dates when the St John family joined the church and given names telling of these people who joined the SDB Church and the last record of a family member at Leonardsville (SDB Church is still there-Brookfield #1), but I guess you have all that information so I won't forward it. It did give an idea of the length of time the family was in this area. I have been to this SDB church also. A DAR member at my Chapter here in FL (and a cousin through my Kenyon line) was B and raised in Leonardsville, but at that time her Kenyon family was Methodist. There are 2 Cemeteries in Leonardsville (Village) and I have been to both of them. One is the Leonardsville Cemetery right off the main highway on the South Side and visible from the Road and the other is an Old Cemetery (which might have the early people you want) that is on a side street (almost across the hwy. from the side street where the SDB Church sits) and can only be entered by getting permission to go through someone's yard. The PO will tell you how to get there. I just knocked on a couple doors. However that was not a problem they were happy to let us go through their yard. It is gated with an old black Iron fence and the stones are very old. I do know that Clarke/Clark was one name on the stones and many familiar SDB members were buried there. No one was able to give me the exact name of this Cemetery. I spent probably 3-4 days in this area just strolling various Cemeteries. My niece taught at Brookfield High School until she transferred to Utica to teach in Jan. 2005. In addition there are cemeteries in Brookfield (which is very close), not to mention many small ones in between and the site of the other SDB Church, Brookfield #2 (Still operating) and could be another possible burial place. Here is a web site that you can go through although it is not indexed. http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ny/madison/cemeteries/brookfld.txt I would suggest that you contact the "Galleries Library" Syracuse NY that has all of the local History and Genealogical information for Onondaga County and all surrounding counties including Madison. They have an excellent Special Collections Room and many Cemetery Listings and although I usually did my own research at the Library (used to live in the area) I know that they are very good about helping people outside the area. Their website is: http://www.onlib.org/website/about/central.htm Go to the Local History/Genealogy and hit that and you will find the email address that you can send an inquiry through. Good Luck! Warm Regards Pat R
