My great grandmother was Betsey Calkins. I believe her father was Daniel Calkins and her mother was a Wilson. They came from the Johnstown, area north of Schenectady & Amsterdam. Betsey was born 17 Jan. 1832. Any info out there will be greatly appreciated. Does anyone have a Sarah Van Buren, daughter of a George and Sarah Van Buren in their data base? She presumably married a Daniel Fields, probably 1830's or 40's. Thanks. Barbara
Hi Diane, No,thank you, I am not looking for anyone. I never research the Oliver surname because they were my mother's adopted family and I only look for my blood line. I will check on the Phillips you mentioned and let you know if they are in my files. Hi Elaine We have connected before, you were looking for your McIntyre ancestors. Did you ever find them? Oliver McIntyre, Westford, Otsego Co married Mary Oliver, both from Chester, MA and two children (3, one died) were born from tht marriage, Christian (3x gr grandnmother) and John, in Worcester, NY. I believe Mary and Oliver to be buried someplace in the area of where they lived, but have not found them yet (maybe never will). Oliver remarried Mary/Polly Miller Hitchock and they had 3 children, Marsena, Oliver and Polly O. who married Elijah C. Phillips. Can't find Elijah and Polly together aft 1850, Elijah and dau Lucy are in 1870. Are you familar with this Phillips?
