Hello, I have been following this thread. But, has anyone tried using features in the email software to help identify list emails. Most email software has some way to identify, classify, highlight etc. an email. For example I use MS outlook on this computer. I have set up a message rule which takes any message sent to [email protected] and moves them into a folder named "Oswego List". I could easily have made the email line show up in my inbox in a different color or font. Outlook express has a similar but different mechanism, which I use at home to sort my wife and kids email from mine. I believe every other email program will have the same type of feature. Just look into the help file for something like "message rules", "highlight" or "classify". I just want to note that I'm not trying to admonish anyone. I am just trying to help out. And besides by doing a little experimenting you might end up with another tool to make your computer experience better. -- Mike Buell Fairport, NY > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Monday, September 08, 2003 2:34 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: VANT mailing list created > > > Anna writes: > << I am new to this list and very confused by it as well. > The messages that > I get do not have the NYOSWEGO in the subject line.
